Who we are

This website, jinda.no, is run by Thai Relax Jinda Seangmee-Anuphap (org. no. 825 826 602), with a salon at Storgata 17 in Ålesund and a clinic at Møllergata 44 in Oslo. If you have questions about privacy, write to hei@jinda.no or call +47 484 09 184.

When you visit the website

The website uses no cookies for visitors, no analytics and no advertising. The only cookie that exists is used by the people who work here to log in, and is set only when they log in. The website is hosted by Vercel; its content is stored in a database at Neon and its images at Vercel Blob — all in Frankfurt, within the EU/EEA. As with any website, these services keep technical logs (IP address, time and which page was fetched) that are used for operations and troubleshooting and are deleted automatically after a short time.

Reviews

On the «Reviews» page we show customer reviews through a service from Elfsight. It loads from elfsightcdn.com when you open the page, and Elfsight may then register your IP address and set its own cookies. This is the only content on the website that comes from a third party.

Booking an appointment

When you book an appointment on the website, we store your name, e-mail address and mobile number, any note you write, and the appointment itself — salon, treatment, therapist, time and price. The information is used to carry out the booking and to contact you about it. Together with the booking we store a coded value derived from your IP address, used only to stop abuse; the address itself is not stored. Payment is made at the salon — nothing is paid on the website. The «My appointment» link gives access to your booking; do not share it with others. The information is kept for as long as we need it for bookkeeping.

Once you have booked, we send you a confirmation by e-mail, and you are notified by e-mail if the appointment is changed or cancelled. The e-mail contains your name, the details of the appointment and the link to «My appointment». We also receive a notification of the booking at our own e-mail address. E-mails are sent through Mailgun, from servers in the EU; Mailgun keeps information about the sending (recipient address, subject and delivery status) for a short period for troubleshooting. E-mail reminders the day before your appointment will come in a later version of the website, and this statement will be updated when that happens.

Your appointment is also entered in the therapist’s calendar at Google (Google Calendar), with your name, mobile number, the treatment, the time and any note you wrote. Google Ireland Limited processes this information on our behalf and may store it on servers outside the EU/EEA; the transfer is made under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The event is removed from the calendar if the appointment is cancelled.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes

This statement is updated as the website changes; the date at the top shows the latest change.
